It is true that grapes have slightly more calories than other types of fruit. But fortunately, calories are not everything in life and we are allowed to enjoy these fruits, especially if we are aware of what they can do for our health.

Incidentally, the green grapes have less sugar than the red varieties.

Grapes is one of the foods with a high resveratrol content.

Resveratrol is said to help in the killing of cancer cells, but so far this has only been proven in the laboratory.

Other studies have shown that reservatrol has beneficial effects on heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, arthritis and other autoimmune diseases.
